The Latest on the Audi R8 GT

The big news yesterday in Audi land is that they've set a starting price for the 2012 Audi R8 GT: $196,800 (excluding $1,250 destination charge, taxes, title, options and dealer charges).

Audi Creating More Buzz For Diesel and Hybrid Vehicles

With Americans feeling the pinch in gas prices this past month, I wouldn't be surprised if we see more people giving more serious thought to investing in diesel or hybrid vehicles. Granted, we have been witnessing record highs in gas prices for the past few years...and the way its going, it looks like it's just going to increase from here on out.

What's the Difference Between the Audi A3 Concept and the Audi A4?

The internet is buzzing with news from the Geneva Auto Show:  Audi has revealed the Audi A3 concept car.  At first glance, my initial thought was...So what's the difference between this new A3 concept and the current A4?. Here are some notable differences that I came across:

Horsepower:  The Audi A3 sedan will have an impressive 408 hp while the A4 has 211 hp.

Body Length: The A3 sedan is 174.8 inches long, which is 10.2 inches shorter than the A4.

Fuel Mileage: The A3 will deliver an estimated 25.85 U.S. miles per gallon (not sure if that is city or highway). The 2011 A4 achieves 23-mpg in the city and 30-mpg on the highway.

Interior: Jet-like air vents and pop-up multi-media display.

Front Grille: The new A3 will be made with carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP), which is very lightweight and strong.

Aesthetically speaking, the A3 concept is much sportier and sleeker than the A4. As with any model, it also lives up to the elegance that Audi is known for.
