2018 Audi Q5 Reviews Roundup

The 2018 Audi Q5 is sportier and faster than its predecessor, delivering 252 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. It was the brand’s top-selling model two years ago and promises to set a new standard of luxury in the SUV segment.

Are you in the market for a compact luxury crossover SUV? Here's what people are saying about the new 2018 Audi Q5:

Daniel Pund of Car And Driver:
"...But like the Allroad, the Q5 has a visually quiet, near-minimalist interior style. It’s a calming place. Without flashiness to distract and confuse the eye, minimalism invites greater scrutiny of material quality, and here Audi does pretty well.

Mike Monticello of Consumer Reports:
"You need to squint pretty hard at the 2018 Audi Q5 to see that it’s new. What your eyes can’t tell you is that underneath this luxury compact SUV’s evolutionary styling is an all-new platform, and with that comes more power, a smoother ride, a quieter cabin, and more rear-seat space.

Hannah Elliott of Bloomberg:
"I wondered how much there could really be to say about it. But there’s something about the Q5 that feels like an exhalation the moment you get inside. I really liked it."

Andrew Ganz of Motor Authority:
"Following current Audi convention, the latest Q5 looks rather like a mid-cycle rehash rather than a full redesign, but beneath its slightly more sculpted exterior sits a new platform hiding a host of updated technologies in line with the rest of the automaker’s lineup."

Arv Voss of
“...the Audi Q5 2.0T is actually more wagon-like than SUV or Crossover-like, though it is equally suited to on or off-road driving scenarios (we’re not talking rock crawling on the Rubicon Trial here, however).”

Model year 2018 Q5 starting manufacturer suggested retail prices:
Premium: $41,500
Premium Plus: $45,500
Prestige: $50,800
