Which Audi Models Do Women Love?

2017 Audi TT Coupe

What matters to women when looking for a car? The Women’s Choice Award, founded by Delia Passi (former Publisher of Working Mother magazine) commissioned a study to find out. It turns out Audi cars fit in many of the categories that appeal to women. Four models including the A3 Cabriolet, A-3 Sportback e-Tron, TT Coupe and Q3 were leaders and honored at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show.

Award categories include Safety, Reliability, Family-Friendly and Eco-Friendly. Vehicles were classified into nine segments within each category and then scored based on factors such as value, safety, reliability, convenience, comfort, and fuel economy. The A3 Cabriolet earned the award for “eco-friendly” and “safety” in the convertible category, the A3 Sportback e-tron received the “eco-friendly” award in the hatchback category, while the TT Coupe and Q3 were given the “reliable” awards in coupe and crossover categories.

Audi has been on point with creating smaller models that are more efficient. Readers may recall our review of the A3 Cabriolet that offers style and luxury at an affordable price. It does have low CO2 emissions, plus it produces an EPA-estimated combined 28 mpg, which makes it a relatively efficient car. The A3 e-tron is rated at 39 mpg in city and highway combined, but what is more impressive is that the combined gas and electric rating is 86 mpg.

Although Audi has had a reputation of not being the most reliable car brand in the U.S., it’s refreshing to see the TT Coupe and Q3 being recognized in the “reliability” category. The TT Coupe is stylish with superb handling and upgraded technology. The Q3 is a subcompact SUV that delivers a premium driving experience while proving to be reliable in snowy conditions.

While only four Audi models won the Women’s Choice Award, we can all probably agree that women all over the world admire every Audi model currently on the market.
