5 Unconventional Ways to Sell Your Audi

Selling your Audi is all about marketing, and while placing ads in the newspaper or on sites like Craigslist are ok, why not think outside the box a little? Here are a few ideas that will increase your chances of selling the car much quicker:

1. Advertise it on a t-shirt - Have shirts made for you, your kids, and even your dog. Remember to wear it when you're going to be in a place with large groups of people. If your family all wear the t-shirts at the same time during an outing, you will attract more attention!

2. The not-so-usual online used car directory - There are many sites where you can advertise your Audi, but if you have that oh so special vintage or unique car, there are places that do specialize in listing these types of cars for sale.

3. Make a website - Real estate agents do this all the time with high-end properties. Why not try the same technique to sell your Audi? You could use a free blog platform such as Tumblr, Blogger, or Wordpress.com to set up a site quickly and easily. After you've created the site, make sure to share it on all of your social media profiles, especially sites like Pinterest.

4. Hold an auction for a school fundraiser - If you want to help raise funds for your kid’s school, you could work out an agreement with the Principal to do a silent auction during a school event like the talent show or a football game, then donate a portion of the proceeds to the school. You will need to start the bidding at a price low enough to really entice people to actually bid on the car.

5. Create a YouTube video - I think this method is starting to become more common nowadays because I’m seeing more car dealerships advertising their cars for sale through videos. Google actually tends to rank videos higher in organic searches. The key is to title the video something like, "Audi (insert model here) for sale in (your city and state)". And if you've created a website to sell the car, make sure to include the video on the site as well.
